Paint on Walls
Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I wanted to share some wonderful examples of how community-based murals can not only brighten up an environment, but bring a community together. The talented artist Lorenzo Nassimbeni (who has generously assisted in past Boundless Arts programs), recently completed a beautiful mural in Cape Town with local students. I'm currently in Accra, and was struck by a dynamic mural along Kanda Rd. that was recently painted. The beautiful images and local involvement by artists and community members alike make it a truly home-grown expression of the city. Learn more here.
